Jason
M. Howard, 34 years of Temperance, MI, died
Friday, September 09, 2005 in the Hospice
of Northwest Ohio Inpatient Unit in Perrysburg
Twp., OH. Friends may call from 2-9 pm Monday
in the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640
Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Funeral
services will be held Tuesday in the Monroe
Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Harold
Raymond, of Cornerstone Baptist Church,
officiating. Interment will follow in St.
Joseph Cemetery, Monroe. Born, Sept.
4, 1971 in Monroe, MI, he was the son of
Donald and Melanie (Cole) Howard. A 1989
graduate of Monroe High School, he then
attended Monroe Community College. Jason
married Nicole Fox, July 20, 2002 in Toledo,
OH. He was a US Navy veteran of the Persian
Gulf War where he served as a personnel
officer on the SS Rushmore. He
worked as a salesman for several car dealerships
in the Southern Michigan and Northwest Ohio
area. He had also owned Howard Auto Sales
in Erie, MI. Jason
was an active athlete, playing on numerous
softball leagues and most recently with
Cornerstone Baptist Church. In his early
teens, he was a 4 time state champion in
Juniors Racquet Ball and was named national
champion in the US Navy. He was also a member
of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Ida. Surviving
are his loving wife and daughter, Nicole
and Julia. Mother, Melanie Howard-Parks
of Temperance. Father, Donald Howard of
Monroe. Grandfather, Malcolm (Grace) Cole
of Monroe. Brother, Brad (Jackie) Parks
of Monroe. Sisters, Holly (Chuck) Brososky
and Heather Carner, both of Ida. He was
preceded in death by his grandparents, Betsy
Simonelli, LaVern and Betty Kurtz and great
grandmother, Cleo Cole.
