Donald
H. Hicks, age 59 years of Toledo, OH, died
Sunday, August 26, 2007 in St. Vincent Mercy
Medical Center, Toledo, OH. Born January
25, 1948 in Toledo, OH, he was the son of
Harvey and Marjorie (Marquart) Hicks. Donald
was a truck driver for various Toledo Trucking
firms for the past 40 years. He was a member
of the Teamsters, Local 20 in Toledo.
Surviving are his loving wife, Diane. Children,
Paul Hicks, Andrew (Debra) Hicks, Richard
Rayburn, Thomas Hicks, Michelle (Paul) Herbster,
and Sandy (Russell) O'Dell. Brothers, Timothy
(Linda) Werling, Frederick Werling, Raymond
Hicks, Harvey ( Shannon ) Hicks, III and
Robert (Patricia) Hicks. Sisters, Linda
(Arlyss) Arieham, Janice Hicks, Vicki (Bruce)
Williams, Ruth (Hippie) Freeman, Iva (Larry)
Ashley, and Jean (Bruce) Clark, 13 grandchildren
and 1 great granddaughter. Donald was preceded
in death by his parents, Step-father, Paul
Werling. Daughter, Cheryl Rayburn, brother,
Vincent Werling and sister, Judy Hites.
Visitation
will be held Wednesday from 3-7 pm at the
Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith
Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral
services will follow at 7:00 pm. Rev. Jerry
Craig, officiating. The family wishes to
thank the staff at St. Vincent Mercy Cardiac
Care Unit for their wonderful care given
to Donald during his illness.
