Robert
P. Heckel, 63 years of Lambertville, MI,
died Friday, August 6, 2004 at the Hospice
of Northwest Ohio after a lengthy battle
with leukemia. Born December 9, 1940 in
Toledo, OH, he was the son of Robert and
Clementine (Kania) Heckel. He married Patricia
Dudley on May 28, 1976 in Toledo. Robert
attended St. Agnes Elementary School and
was a 1958 graduate of Central Catholic,
both in Toledo. He then received his bachelors
of business from the University of Toledo.He
was a member of the F.O.E., #197 in Toledo
and was past treasurer of the Members Capital
Credit Union. Robert also enjoyed Hunting,
Fishing, Gardening, Traveling and Camping.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia.
Children, Juliana (Craig) Winkelman of Temperance,
Sara (David) Puterbaugh of Petersburg, MI,
Paul Heckel of Perrysburg and Michael Bacon
of Temperance. Mother, Clementine Heckel
of Toledo and sister, Barbara Porter of
Toledo, 9 grandchildren, 3 nieces and 1
nephew. He was preceded in death by his
father.
Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. Monday in
the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home , 1640
Smith Road (one mile north of Alexis) Temperance,
MI, where funeral services will be held
Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Robert Hinz,
pastor of Bedford Alliance Church, officiating.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest
Ohio or the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society.
