Nancy C. Hays, 68 years of Erie, Mi, died Wednesday, October 07, 2009 in The Toledo Hospital. Born June 5, 1941 in Piketon, Ohio, she was the daughter of Walter and Louise (Radabaugh) Days. She was employed by the former Ames and Hills Dept. Stores on Alexis Rd. in Toledo for 15 years. Nancy enjoyed going to crafts shows and was a member of the Red Hat Society.
She is survived by the love of her life, Edward Utcai. Children, Jeffrey (Alice) Hays of Cumberland, OH, Kelli (Troy) Vandagriff of Zanesville, OH, Karen (David) Gordon of Temperance, MI and Rebecca (Jack Gurney) Adams of Temperance, MI. Brother, Walter (Lois) Days of Salinas, CA. Sister, Betty (Richard) Walls of Waverly, OH. 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Robert Hays.
Visitation will be from 2-7 pm Sunday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm. Pastor Tim Loewe of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Lambertville, MI, officiating. Graveside services will be held Monday at 1:00 pm at Gardner Cemetery, Waverly, Ohio.
