Hubert R. Hart, 86 years of Toledo, OH, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 3, 2012 in his home. Born, June 1, 1925 in Toledo, OH, he was the son of William and Elsie (Hartman) Hart. A 1943 graduate of Whitmer High School, he served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy Seabees. Hubert married Sheila J. Pearsall on September 14, 1946 in Toledo, OH. He was employed by the Chrysler Corporation for 43 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of the U.A.W., Local 12 and was also a model train enthusiast.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Sheila. Daughter, Sharon (Denver) Beck. Sister, Eleanor (Frank) Madachy. Grandchildren; Denver (Stefanie) Beck, Jennifer (Andy) Chuhy, Beth (Adam) Weyenberg, Robert Benson, and Krista Allen. Great grandchildren; Abby, Makena, Alex, Darren, Ashley, Brianna, Brendan, Kate, Max and Macy. Son-in-law, Robert Benson, Jr. Hubert was preceded in death by a daughter; Cheryl Benson, grandson, Bryan Beck, 5 brothers and 1 sister.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Thursday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. |
