Lewis
K. Graff, age 52 years of Temperance, MI,
died Saturday, June 16, 2007 at St. Vincent
Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, OH. Born July
1, 1954 in Wyandotte , MI , he was the son
of Lewis W. and Nancy S. (Garrett) Graff.
A US Army veteran of the Viet Nam war, he
married Jean A. Steward on Aug. 30, 1974
in Ft. Knox, KY. Lew was employed by Auto
Alliance in Flat Rock, MI for the past 20
years. He was a member of the U.A.W., Local
3000 and was an active member of the First
Baptist Church in Temperance, where he was
currently serving as an Elder and also sang
in the choir. Lew also enjoyed Golfing and
Singing.
Surviving
are his wife, Jean. Sons, Lewis K (Laura)
of Sunrise, FL, Eric L. (Meghan) Graff of
Rockwood, MI and Ben E. (Caroline) Graff
of Chapel Hill, NC. Mother, Nancy Graff
of Southgate, MI. Brothers, Philip (Susan)
Graff of Melvindale, MI and Greg (Pam) Graff
of Southgate, MI. Sister, Susan (Rex) Bryan
of Greenback, TN and 3 grandchildren. He
was preceded in death by his father.
Friends
may call from 2-9 pm Tuesday at the Michael
W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road
(at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Funeral services
will be held Wednesday at 10:00 am at the
First Baptist Church in Temperance, where
he will lie in state after 9:00 am. Rev.
Stephen Sparks, pastor of the church, officiating.
Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery,
Flat Rock, MI. Memorials may be made to
the First Baptist Church of Temperance.
