Willie Gentry,
age 94 years of Temperance, MI, died Saturday,
December 01, 2007 in Flower Hospital, Sylvania,
OH. Born Oct. 13, 1913 in Licksburg, KY,
he was the son of Filmore and Mary (Bowling)
Gentry. Willie married Jessie May Reed on
Oct. 11, 1937. She preceded him in death
on Jan. 23, 1981 . He was employed as a
print & finisher for Textile Leather
in Toledo for over 30 years, retiring in
1975. He had attended Cathedral of Praise
in Sylvania, OH.
Surviving
are his loving children, Virginia (Dale)
Walters of Onstead, MI, Janet Elaine (Jack)
Henry, Gladys (Gene) Thompson, William (Linda)
Gentry, all of Temperance, MI and Barbara
(Ron) Kazmierski of Toledo, OH. 13 grandchildren,
20 great grandchildren and 1 great great
grandson.
Visitation
will be held Monday from 3-9 pm at the Michael
W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at
Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services
will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am. Interment
will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorials
may be made to the American Cancer Society
or the American Heart Association. |
