Lucille
Eulalia Gajewski, age 76 years of Petersburg
Michigan, passed away peacefully on Wednesday,
March 26, 2008 , at Flower Hospital surrounded
by her family. Born in New Bavaria, Ohio,
on October 1, 1931, the only daughter of
Joseph and Mary (Wilhelm) Thomas. Lucille
graduated from Central Catholic High School
in 1950. She married Charles Gajewski on
July 3, 1954, and together they had five
beautiful children. Lucille was a member
of Tri-State Gem and Mineral Society and
loved vacationing in northern Michigan.
She loved spending time with friends and
family. Lucille was lovingly called "gram"
by her grandchildren. Anyone that met her
would describe her as sweet and joyful.
She was adored by her whole family, and
was a beautiful person that will be greatly
missed.
She
is survived by her children Diane (Gerald
Cowell) Gajewski, LuAnn (David) Koch, Cheryl
(Thomas) Hannigan, Brian (Laura) Gajewski,
and Kevin Gajewski; her grandchildren Kelly
(Matthew) Ray, Peter (Brianne) Hannigan,
Leah (Patrick) Rose, Hilary Hannigan, Benjamin
Hannigan, Justin Koch, Heather Koch, Joshua
Gajewski, Jessica Gajewski, and Megan Gajewski,
Kayla Fitts, ; her great-grandsons, Joel
and Ashton Hannigan.
Family
and friends may visit on Friday, March 28,
2008 from 2-8 p.m. at the Michael W. Pawlak
Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. Temperance,
MI, where a rosary will be prayed Friday
at 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on
Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at
Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church,
where she will lie in state after 9:30 am.
Interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery,
Temperance, MI.
