Jim
“Sarg” S. Fye, age 70 years of Lambertville,
MI, died Thursday, September 14, 2006 in
Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo, MI.
Born Jan. 21, 1936 in Toledo, OH, he was
the son of Harold and Margaret (Lindeman)
Fye. A 1955 graduate of Whitmer High School
, he had also attended DeVilbiss High School.
Jim married Sally Greene on July 3, 1958
in Toledo . He retired from the US Army
Reserves. Jim was in maintenance for Toledo
Edison, retiring in 1991. He was a member
of St, Luke's Lutheran Church, Green Hills
Association, Bedford Athletic Association
and the Edison Employee Association. He
also enjoyed attending his grandchildren's
activities and was an avid Ohio State Fan.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents,
step-mother, Ethel Fye.
Surviving
are his loving wife, Sally. Children, Beckie
(Rick) Crawford of Temperance, MI, Steve
(Kathy) Fye and Chris (Mike) Przybylek,
both of Lambertville, MI. Sister, Phyllis
(Richard) Marsteller of Naples, FL. Brother
in law, Bill Greene of Reynoldsburg, OH.
Grandchildren, Amber ( Chad ) Hine, Adrianne,
Natalie and R.J. Crawford. Tony and Mandi
Fye, Travis, Cory & Troy Przybylek.
Great grandchildren, Colton and Cort Hine.
Visitation
will be Tuesday from 2-9 pm at the Michael
W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road
( at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Funeral services
will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at St.
Luke's Lutheran Church , Sterns at Jackman,
Temperance, MI, where he will lie in state
after 10:00 am. Pastor Frank Paine, officiating.
Memorials may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran
Church or Make A Wish Foundation.
