Charles “Charlie” Frederick, Jr. age 72 years of Lambertville, MI, died Monday, December 7, 2009 in his home.  Born May 5, 1937 in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Charles and Alta (Allen) Frederick, Sr.  He married Barbara Kinney on Jan. 10, 1975 in Toledo, OH.  Charlie was employed by AP Parts in Toledo for 38 years, retiring in 1995.  He was a former assistant chief of the Bedford Volunteer Fire Dept #2 in Lambertville, MI serving over 25 years.  He had also attended Bridgepoint Church (formerly First Baptist Church) in Temperance, MI.   Charlie’s devotions were his family and grandchildren.

Surviving are his loving wife, Barbara.  Daughters, Laura (John) Sorrell, Christine (Jim) Nevers, Danelle Dupuis, Debbie Schmidt, and Dana (Dave) Copciac.  16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, son, Todd Frederick.  Brothers, Lingren, Russell, Ronald and Roger Frederick.  Sisters, Ruthella Raudebush and Virginia Porath, 

Visitation will be held from 2-9 pm Wednesday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 am.    Last Call services will be held Wednesday at 7:00 pm by the Bedford Fire Department.  Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to Bridgepoint Church or the American Lung Association.
