Wanda
( Navarre ) Ferrell, age 90 years of Temperance,
MI died Sunday, December 02, 2007 in Hospice
of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg Twp., OH.
Born Feb. 2, 1917 in Toledo, OH, she was
the daughter of John and Julia (Kasparzak)
Walentowski. She married M.C. “Pete” Ferrell
on Oct. 5, 1979 in Toledo, OH. He preceded
her in death on March 3, 1990. Wanda was
employed for the former LaSalle's Dept.
Store for over 10 years, retiring in 1979.
She had also worked for the former Superior
Truck Stop on Telegraph Road in Temperance,
MI. She was a member of Northwest Baptist
Church in Toledo, OH and the Ladies Auxiliary
of the D.A.V.
Surviving
are her loving children, Gerald (Bonnie)Navarre
of Gladwin, MI, George “Butch” (Dolly) Navarre,
Patricia (Billy) Bond, and Donna (Robert)
Zakrzewski, all of Temperance, MI. Brothers,
Joseph (Dorothy) Walentowski of Lambertville,
MI and John (Helen) Walentowski of Temperance,
MI 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren
and 7 great great grandchildren. Wanda was
also preceded in death by 2 daughters, Mary
Graves and Julia Miller, Grandson, Mark
Allen Navarre, 8 brothers, 5 sisters.
Visitation
will be held Tuesday from 3-9 pm at the
Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith
Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral
services will be held Wednesday at 11:00
am. Pastor Andrew Edwards, III, officiating.
Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial
Park, LaSalle, MI. Memorials may be made
to Northwest Baptist Church or Hospice of
Northwest Ohio.
