Harry “Jack”
Einhart, age 80 of Temperance, MI and formerly
of Toledo, OH, died Monday, June 30, 2008
in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg
Twp., OH. Born July 6, 1927 in Toledo, OH,
he was the son of Harry J. and Mary Jane
(Foor) Einhart. A WWII Navy veteran, he
was a 1945 graduate of Scott High School.
Jack worked as a splicer and engineer for
the former Ohio Bell for 37 years, retiring
in 1986, with 1978 being spent working in
Tehran, Iran. He was also a member of the
Telephone Pioneers of America. Jack enjoyed
bowling, fishing, traveling, playing cards
and reading.
Surviving
are his loving daughters, Mary (Mike) Thibault
and Dorothy (Lou) Santo, both of Toledo,
OH. Loving companion, Helen Hartwick of
Erie, MI. He was preceded in death by his
parents and brother, James Einhart.
Visitation
will be from 2-7 pm on Thursday at the Michael
W. Pawlak Funeral Home\, 1640 Smith Rd.
(at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where memorial
services will follow at 7:00 pm. Rev. Jerry
Craig, officiating. Memorials may be made
to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
