David M. Driscoll, Sr. age 54 of Temperance, MI, died Wednesday, September 16, 2009 in Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.  Born September 10, 1955 in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Eugene and Sally (Dombrowski) Driscoll.  A US Marine veteran of the Vietnam War, he married Linda Van Hove on Nov. 21, 1986 in Blissfield, MI. David graduated from Whitmer High School in 1973 and was employed as a shipping supervisor for A. Mindel & Sons in Toledo for 16 years, retiring in 2005.  He was a member and usher of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Temperance, MI and coached 3B Baseball and the T-Bird’s Football in Bedford Twp., MI. David was an avid Michigan Fan and also enjoyed watching his boy’s play sports, fishing and washing his truck. 

Surviving are his loving wife, Linda.  Sons, David M. and Joseph H. Driscoll, both of Temperance, MI.  Parents, Eugene and Sally Driscoll of Toledo, OH, Brother, Sean (Jennifer) Driscoll of Toledo, OH and his best 4 legged companion, Babzie.

Visitation will be from 1-4 pm Saturday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where memorial services will follow at 4:00 pm.  Fr. Louis Komorowski, officiating.  Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
