Antonio
“Tony” DeCola, age 81 of Lambertville, MI,
died Monday, Nov. 1, 2004 in Hospice of
Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg Twp., OH.
Born August 7, 1923 in Toledo, Ohio, he
was
the son of Salvidor and Agostina (Spucuzza)
DiCola. He married Marion Anteau on Aug.
6, 1959. She preceded him in death on
April 12, 1998. A WWII Army veteran, Tony
received
Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon w/2
Bronze Stars; Philippine Liberation Ribbon
w/1
Bronze Star; Good Conduct Ribbon; 2 Bronze
Arrowheads and the V-Medal. He was employed
by the Daimler-Chrysler Corporation for
40 years, retiring in 1981. Tony was a
member
of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bedford
Goodfellows, and the Bedford Senior Center,
both in Bedford Twp. and the U.A.W, Local
12 in Toledo.
He
is survived by his loving children, Linda
(Steve) Ingram of Drums, PA, Anthony T.
DeCola, Jr. of Merritt Island, FL, Ronald
DeCola of Lambertville, MI, Larry Lazette
of Ottawa Lake, MI, Darla Fuleky of Temperance,
MI and Robert (Kelly) DeCola of Lambertville,
MI. Brother, Gustave DeCola of Toledo, OH
and 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his parents,
daughter, Deborah Hudson, brothers, Thomas
and Joseph DeCola, Sisters, Francis Pickard,
Jenny Hall, and Jane Mynihan.
Friends
may call from 2-9 p.m. Thursday in the Michael
W. Pawlak Funeral Home , 1640 Smith
Road (at Jackman) where funeral services
will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Daniel
Nusbaum, pastor of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel
Church, officiating. Interment will follow
in the church cemetery. Memorials may be
made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio 30000
