William
“Bill” Cooper, 99 years of Temperance,
MI, died Friday, February 13, 2004 in Arbors
at Sylvania. Born December 29, 1904 in Jamestown,
New York, he was the son of William and Anna
(Cedar) Cooper. Bill married Mildred C. Kirk
in March of 1931. He was employed as an inspector
and foreman for the Dana Corporation, Spicer
Division in Toledo for 37 years, retiring
in 1965. He was a member of the Bedford Volunteer
Fire Dept., UAW, Local 12, Bedford Senior
Center, and First Baptist Church in Temperance,
MI. and was recently attending Cornerstone
Baptist Church in Ida, MI.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Mildred.
Children, Warren Cooper and Marilyn (George)
Rollman, both of Temperance. 6 grandchildren
and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded
in death by a brother, George Cooper and a
sister, Grace Tanner.
Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. Friday in the
Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith
Road (at Jackman), Temperance, MI, where funeral
services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
Rev. Harold Raymond, officiating. Interment
will follow in Lambertville Cemetery. Memorials
may be made to the Cornerstone Baptist Church
in Ida, MI or the Bedford Alliance Church
