Tommy F. Coon, age 69 years of Temperance, MI, died Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania, OH. Born April 14, 1941 in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Donald F. and Violette M. (Suzor) Coon. A 1959 graduate of Bedford High School, Tommy had served his country in the US Navy. He married Donna M. Johnson on Oct. 11, 1968 in Wyandotte, MI and was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Lambertville, MI.
He worked as an auto body repairman for several years. He enjoyed mushroom hunting with his friends, deer hunting with his family and fishing in Canada. Surviving are his loving wife, Donna. Father, Donald F. Coon. Brother, Tim (Donna) Coon and sister, Diane Franks. Tommy was preceded in death by his mother. He was loved and will be missed by his nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Monday, August 30, 2010 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 2843 West Sterns Rd., Lambertville, MI 48144 at 11:00 am. Pastor Tim Loewe, officiating. Memorials may be made to the church. Arrangements by the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, Temperance, MI. |
