Melvin
R. Cole, Jr. 53 years, of Toledo, passed away
Friday, January 2, 2004 in his home. Born
November 1, 1950, Melvin was the son of Melvin
and Patsy (Weber) Cole, Sr. He was employed
as an automotive mechanic for most of his
life, most recently for Cornett Racing of
Temperance, MI and was an active member of
ARCA.
Melvin will be deeply missed by his parents,
Melvin and Patsy Cole. Brothers, Jasper (Elizabeth)
Cole and Jeffrey (Dianne) Cole. Sisters, Nola
(Phillip) Wernert, Beverly (David) Heady,
Dianna Nuzum and Muriel (Douglas) Easter.
Companion, Barb Liefert and her daughters,
Rachel, Shirley and his former spouses.
Friends may call from 3-9 p.m. Sunday in the
Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith
Road (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral
services will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will be in Whiteford Union Cemetery.
