Carol A. Clarke, age 66 of Temperance, MI, died Monday, August 23, 2010 in her home. Born November 25, 1943 in Martins Ferry, OH, she was the daughter of John and Jean (Firm) Lentz. A 1962 graduate of Libbey High School, she married Donald E. Clarke on April 11, 1964. Carol was a teacher’s aide for Jackman Road Elementary (Bedford Public Schools) for 20 years, retiring in the late 1990’s. After she retired she was a volunteer for Court Appointed Special Advocates for Monroe County. She enjoyed traveling, but mostly spending time with her family.
Surviving are her loving husband, Donald. Son, Gregory (Kelly) Clarke of Canton, MI. Grandchildren, Andrew and Nathan Clarke. Sister, Linda (Tom) Welsh of Jackson, TN.
Visitation will be from 2-9 pm Thursday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 pm. Entombment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio |
