| Robert “Cowboy” Burkholder, Sr. age 54 years of Temperance, MI, died Friday, September 19, 2008 in Mercy Memorial Hospital. Born January 29, 1954 in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Willace and Marylin (Whitenburg) Burkholder. He enjoyed bullriding and fast cars. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post 192, Sherman Osborne Post in Temperance, MI.
Surviving are his children, Jason Meek, Robert (Angela) Burkholder, Jr. and Mandi Burkholder, all of Toledo, OH. Parents, Willace and Marylin Burkholder of Temperance, MI. Sister, Cathy (Stanley) Thomas of Toledo, OH. Brother, Terry (Terry) Burkholder, Sr. of Lambertville, MI and 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2-9 pm Monday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
