Iva
N. Buford, 84 years of Luna Pier, MI, died
Wednesday at 2:45 am in her home after a
long illness. Born Aug. 22, 1922 in Flint,
Alabama, she was the daughter of James M.
and Texas M. (Rodgers) Baker. She married
John Buford in October of 1946.
She
is survived by her husband, John. Daughters,
Rosemary Mitchell of Decatur, AL, Linda
(Arthur) Engel of Luna Pier, MI and Patricia
(Jerry) Poplar of Salt Lake City, UT. Sisters,
Virginia Shaneyselt of Decatur, AL, Jo (Jay)
Thompson of Decatur, AL and Sue Roam of
Hartsall, AL . 8 grandchildren 8 great grandchildren
and 1 great great granddaughter.

may call from 5-8 pm Friday at the Michael
W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road
(at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral
services will be held Saturday at 10:00
am. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial
Park, LaSalle, MI. Memorials may be made
to the Monroe County Humane Society.
