Violet
Brown, age 77 years of Temperance, MI, died
Wednesday, July 16, 2008 in her home. Born
April 5, 1931 in Painesdale, MI, she was
the daughter of Augusto and Lillian (Abbott)
Bagnieschi. She married John “Jack” Brown
September 5, 1949 in Hancock, MI. He preceded
her in death on July 7, 2003. Violet and
Jack came to Toledo in 1953 and raised their
family her until 1972. They returned to
the Upper Peninsula where Violet owned and
operated the Paradise Bar in Calumet, MI.
They retired to the Bedford area in 1991.
Surviving
are her loving children, Roger (Dianne)
Brown of Seattle, WA and Denice (Mark) Ridenour
of Lambertville, MI. Granddaughters, Breeann,
Sasha and Samantha. Brothers, Roger (Virginia)
Bagnieschi of Muskegon, MI, Sam (Ruth) Bagnieschi
of Beaverton, MI, Charlie Bagnieschi of
Cudhardy, WI. Sisters, Mary Isabel of Collinsville,
OK and Lucille Schultz of Woodale, IL.
Visitation
will be Saturday from 5-7 pm at the Michael
W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at
Jackman) Temperance, where memorial services
will follow at 7:00 pm . Memorials may be
made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
