Sue
(Zahnle) Brooks-Jacob, age 66 years of Erie,
MI, died Tuesday, December 12, 2006 in her
home. Born Feb. 6, 1940 in Lake City, TN,
she was the daughter of Arvil and Addie
(Harris) Brooks. She was the widow of Ralph
Zahnle and Fred Jacobs, Sue was employed
for Dr. Gordon M. Todd, M.D. as a medical
assistant for 10 years, and also a waitressed
at the Brownstone Tavern.
Sue
is survived by her loving children, Nancy
Sue (Gregory) MacKenzie of Onsted, MI, Delores
Searight of Bedford Twp., MI, Ralph (Marichris)
Zahnle of Ottumwa, IA, Eric (Lisa) Zahnle
of Toledo, OH. Sister, Nancy (John) Davis
of Toledo, OH, and 8 grandchildren and 4
step grandchildren.
She
was also preceded in death by her parents,
and 2 brothers, Arvil, Jr. and Carl Brooks.
Visitation
will be held Thursday from 5-9 pm at the
Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith
Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral
services will be held Friday at 10:00 am.
Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial
Park, Sylvania, OH.
