Lucille G. Boggs, age 93 years of Lambertville, MI, died Monday, December 1, 2008 in The Goerlich Center, Sylvania, OH. Born August 11, 1915 in Perry County, OH, she was the daughter of Raymond and Minnie (Garlinger) Cox. She married Robert Boggs on March 30, 1935. He preceded her in death in 1970. Lucille was a member of Hope United Methodist Church in Toledo, OH.
Surviving are her loving children, Robert (Cindy) Boggs of Toledo, OH and Judith Mechler of Temperance, MI. 4 grandchildren, Susan (Stephen) Satkowski, Karen (Steve) Miller, Robert (Christine) Boggs, Jr. and Nicholas Boggs, 5 great grandchildren, Stephanie, Andrew, Matthew, Kaitlin, and Alexis. Lucille was preceded in death by her son in law, David Mechler, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Visitation will be from 2-9 pm Thursday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Toledo, OH. The family wishes to thank the Goerlich Center for their loving care during Lucille’s illness.
