Andrew “Drew” Boggess, age 21 years of Temperance, MI, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 10, 2008 in the University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor, MI after a courageous battle with cancer for the last 4 ½ years. Born Sept. 17, 1987 in Toledo, OH, he was the son of James and Jamie (Coale) Boggess.  A 2006 graduate of Bedford High School, where he was active in basketball and baseball.  Drew was currently attending Adrian College, working on a degree in psychology.  He had also played baseball for Adrian College. Drew was  an avid Red Sox fan, enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends. 

Surviving are his loving parents, James and Jamie Boggess.  Brother, James (Kristen) Boggess.  Sisters, Angella Collier and Amber Boggess.  Grandparents, James and Beverly Boggess and Diane Coale.  Great grandmother, Betty Kieryczek. Girlfriend, Rachel Batman.  2 nephews and 1 niece, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Coale.

Visitation will be from 3-9 pm Monday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am.  Michael Milot, associate pastor of River of Life Community Church in Dundee, MI, officiating.  Interment will follow in Whiteford Union Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Drew Boggess Memorial Fund, c/o Monroe County Community Credit Union.
