Henry
J. Blanton, age 77 years of Coldwater, MI
and formerly of Temperance, MI, died Sunday,
May 20, 2007in his home. Born June 12, 1929
in Ducktown, TN, he was the son of Henry
and Bonnie ( Wilson ) Blanton, Sr. Henry
married Betty Thomas on Dec. 11, 1948 in
Atlanta , GA. He was employed as a Glass
Worker for Libby Glass for 43 years, retiring
in 1991. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and
home construction.
Surviving
are his loving wife, Betty. Children, Judy
(Jerry) Brown of Maumee, OH, Carolyn (Greg)
Withrow of Sylvania, OH and Daryl (Joy)
Blanton of Temperance, MI. Brothers, Ray
(Glenna) Farr, Fred (Benny) Farr and Robert
(Debbie) Farr, all of Marysville, TN. Sisters,
Pat Hollifield of Marysville, TN, Debbie
(Steve) Rines of Talbott,TN, Grandchildren,
Brandon (Mindy), Ryan, Christopher, Stephanie
and Jared.
Visitation
will be held Tuesday from 2-8 pm at the
Assembly of Christians Churc, 3619 W. Sterns
Rd., Lambertville, MI, where funeral services
will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am. Interment
will folllow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park,
Toledo, OH. Memorials may be made to Missionaries
of Charity, Ronald McDonald House or the
Assembly of Christians for Missions in India.
