James “Jimbo” R. Badger, 50 years of Erie, MI, died Wednesday, December 16, 2009 in Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.  Born July 14, 1959 in Toledo, OH, he was the son of James T. and Delores (Belair) Badger.  A 1977 graduate of Mason High School, he married Brenda Burns on Sept. 25, 1990.  Jim was employed by Three-Way Trucking and was a loyal member of R.V.Y.C.  At a moment’s notice, Jim was there to help.  He gave much of his time to others and never asked for anything in return.

Survivors included are wife Brenda. Mother, Delores. Daughters, Jill Badger, Julie (Craig) Hayter, Erin Westfall, Andrea (Omar) Kassem and Allison Westfall. Brothers, Dennis (Sue), John (Gayla) and Michael Badger.  Sisters, Kathy (Kevin) Sontag and Kelly (Kevin) Bausman.  Papa’s grandchildren, Chase Burlen, Sofie and Mira Kassem and Kamari Johnson and 2 grandsons expected in 2010.  Jim was preceded in death by his father, and siblings, Kim and Doug Badger.   

Visitation will be 2-9 pm Friday and 10:00 am – 12:30 pm Saturday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be Saturday at 12:30 pm.    R.V.Y.C. services will be held Friday at 7:30 pm in the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
