Freida P. Abel, 83 years of Bedford Twp., MI, died Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania, OH. Born June 30, 1926 in Pettisville, OH, she was the daughter of Clarence and Christina (Beck) Seiler. A 1943 graduate of Pettisville High School, she married Duane E. Able May 26, 1955. He preceded her in death on May 15, 2003. Freida was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, and  the V.F.W.  # 9656 Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her loving children Ronald (Denise Rorrer) Abel of Lambertville, MI and Kathleen (Raymond) Cordrey of Holland, OH. Sister, Evelyn Ruffenact of Archbold, OH,  4 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be from 5-9 pm Tuesday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman), Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am.  V.F.W.  services will be held Tuesday at 7:00 pm. Pastor Frank Paine, officiating. Interment will follow at Lambertville Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
