Lawrence “Larry”
Lukasik, age 69 years of Lambertville,
MI, died Friday, August 3, 2007 in St. Vincent
Mercy Medical Center of an aneurysm, surrounded
by his wife, family and friends. Born June
23, 1938 in Detroit, MI, he was the son
of Joseph and Helen (Wisniewski) Lukasik.
A US Navy veteran from 1955-1959, he married
Joann Chapp on June 27, 1987 He owned and
operated Quality Collision in Toledo for
the past 24 years. Larry was a member of
the Harbor View Yacht Club and the P.R.C.U.A.,
both in Toledo, OH.
He
is survived by his loving wife of 20 years,
Joann. Stepson, Chief Jesse (Natasha) Babb,
USN of Honolulu, HI. 3 grandsons, Skylar,
Trevor, and Tarent, Sisters, Diane (Leo)
Vossen of Davis Junction, IL, Connie (Don)
Delorey of Cheboygan, MI, Jeannie Griffin
of St. Clair, MI and Merry (Dave) Fitz of
Wales, MI. Sister in law, Barb Lukasik of
Wales, MI, along with 8 nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents,
and 1 brother, Joseph Lukasik.
Visitation
will be Tuesday from 2-9 pm at the Michael
W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at
Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services
will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am. Entombment
will follow at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania,
OH. Memorials may be made to the American
Cancer Society or the American Red Cross.
The family would like to extend a special
thanks to Dr. Martinez and Dr. Amer, and
the nurses at St. Vincent Mercy Medical
Center 's Medical/Surgical I.C.U. for their
wonderful care of Larry and Joann over the
recent weeks.
