Pawlak Funeral Home
was opened in October of 1998 at 1640 Smith Rd.
in Temperance, Michigan.
Built on a 2.3 acre site near the Bedford Hills
Golf Club, the business is owned and operated by
Michael & Deborah Pawlak. The Home's structure,
built by Fornwald Fine Homes, is 8,000 square feet
in size, and includes a memorial walkway and gazebo.

Michael
W. Pawlak, a licensed mortician,
was raised in Bedford Township and is a 1979 graduate
of Bedford High School. He received his certificate
in mortuary science from Wayne State University
in 1986.
Mr. Pawlak worked for Czopek Funeral Home in Wyandotte
while attending college. Upon completion, he worked
for 15 years at a local funeral home in Temperance,
Michigan. He has also been associated with the
Earle Little Funeral Home in Monroe, Michigan.

Deborah
(Nichols) Pawlak, a Blissfield
native and 1983 Blissfield High graduate, worked
as a sales representative for Medical Value Plan
(MVP), a former Toledo area HMO, and recently
worked as an interior decorator. Deborah also
decorated the funeral home.
The Pawlak's opened the funeral home in response
to the continued population growth in the greater
Bedford Township area. |
